For 180 years Elders has been synonymous with rural Australia. More than just real estate, farm supplies or livestock agency, we’re an integrated agribusiness focused on creating real value for all our stakeholders in both Australian and international markets.
Your new Role
You will use your wool expertise to add value to our clients by understanding their needs and offering the right solutions. To aid in your success you will enjoy working closely with other key product sales professionals and share your knowledge to add to the team’s skillset.
You will be driven by the challenge of securing new business and partnering with clients by managing their wool sales end to end process, including devising strategies for passed in lots and advising on purchases to maximise clip return.
Reporting to the Area Manager, you will play an active role in representing Elders in campaigns, field days, ram sales, community events and forums.
You will have a background in sales, ideally with a successful record in wool selling. You must be committed to the provision of high-quality customer service, as well as possessing extensive knowledge of clip preparation (review and presentation). It is essential to understand your clients’ current and future needs, the region and our competitors. A driver’s license is required and it goes without saying that you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This is a great opportunity to join a dedicated team, who is passionate about Australian agribusiness.
