Sales Representative/Parts Interpreter

The Role

The role involves front line technical sales support and advice to our customers with the following core responsibilities:

  • Providing timely and accurate advice and recommendations;
  • Liaising with customers on new product launches;
  • Monthly newsletter and other administrative duties;
  • Contributing to meeting or exceeding budgeted sales targets;
  • Management of product orders;
  • Assist and manage warranty process and maintain after sales service care;
  • Maintain adequate product knowledge and proactively seek ongoing training for product knowledge;
  • Identifying and developing sales opportunities and referrals;
  • Generate quotations and issue invoices, processing credits and orders.

This role will liaise with people from across the business and will play an active role in representing Elders in campaigns, field days, community events and forums.

The Person

  • Previous sales experience and a background in mechanics and agriculture;
  • Committed to the provision of high-quality customer service;
  • Possess an understanding of agriculture products;
  • Understanding your clients’ current and future needs, the region and our competitors;
  • Demonstrated high-quality written and verbal communication and customer service skills;
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office with exceptional attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and have good time management skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Although not essential, a qualification in an agricultural or related business discipline will be highly regarded.
