Our livestock salespeople work largely independently, however they understand the value of the team and will often draw on colleagues to make informed decisions. This role is to provide existing clients with first class livestock sales support and advice, as well as cultivate and prospect future livestock sales.
We call our livestock salespeople, Territory Sales Managers or you might know them as a TSM. Day to day they are travelling the countryside drafting and preparing livestock for market, with an end goal to obtain the maximum value for our clients on sale day.
Skilful TSM’s are planning ahead long in advance of sale day, they are proactive and organised, with an ability to execute tactful negotiating skills to bring a buyer and seller together. Relationship management skills are crucial, from farmers, processors and exporters this role is the coordinator and point of contact for them all.
This is not a 9-5 role, at times expect early mornings, and long days, but in return flexibility and autonomy to plan out your day which is very rewarding.
